What is an AI Page?

An AI Page is a hosted, factual pack — HTML, FAQ schema and llms.txt — built so answer engines can cite a business without inventing it.

An AI Page is not a landing page. It is a short, public record of a business that language models can extract and cite, with a human-readable article and a contact form on the same URL.

The pack has a stable slug, a factual summary, a list of services, an area served, FAQs written as people actually ask chatbots, JSON-LD in the HTML, and a sibling llms.txt file. That is the whole product. There is no drag-and-drop canvas hiding underneath.

Why this shape

Answer engines do not run your hero video. They like named entities, constraints (a town, a hours policy, a thing you will not do), and questions that look like queries. Marketing templates optimise for bounce rate and brand colour. They leave the model with a slogan and a stock photo.

A citation page accepts that trade-off. It looks like an article. It is allowed to be a little dry. Dry is extractable.

What it is not

It is not a promise that ChatGPT will mention you. It is not a live tracker of citations across engines. It is not 10,000 city microsites. Those are other companies’ pitches, and they age badly.

It is also not a replacement for your real website. Keep the photos, the booking tool, the work. Add a brief that machines can quote.
